A white noise machine is first on my list when my family plans to spend the weekend in a campground. I am a mother of three, and although camping has always been my favorite outdoor activity, it loses its appeal on me when I would have a hard time making the children go to sleep. Just like most kids, my children do not sleep easily when they are in strange places. Even hotel rooms, with all their amenities, cannot ease up my children’s anxiety of not being home, cuddled between sheets in their all-too-familiar beds. That’s why when we plan to travel, I always make sure that before I write my checklist for other things that I should ready for the trip, I have already packed my Journey Portable White Noise System.

Having done that, I proceed to writing my list. How to pack at less time is no brainer, if you have a list.
First, list down all the necessities like food, toiletries, clothes, and all basic things that your family needs for the trip. Group items that you can find in a particular location, say the kitchen. This will ensure you won’t forget something, plus you save steps.
Second, decide what family activities you would want to do at the campgrounds. It’s nice to throw in a surprise activity, but you can forget some gadgets necessary to pull it off successfully, without advance planning.
Third, include in your list things you would need for life’s little emergencies, like a flashlight, a cell phone or a laptop charger, and some batteries. Don’t forget your first-aid kit! You’ll never know when an emergency strikes.
